This number placement puzzle rapidly gained popularity in 2005. There is a 3 X 3 grid of 3 X 3 sub-grids.
Some of the cells have pre-assigned numbers. The goal is to fill in empy cells with the numbers 1-9, so that each column and row contain each number only once.
If you like crosswords and number puzzles you will love the way Sudoku tests the grey matter. Even teachers recommend it!
To play this board game version of Sudoko, a Sudoku puzzle is copied onto the dry-wipe board from the 200 Sudoku puzzles that are included with the game. Sudoku puzzles from newspapers, websites and books can also be used, so you will never run out of puzzles!
Each player, taking it in turns has 30 seconds to add a number to a blank cell in the grid. If a player correctly enters a number to the grid the number is converted into points, but if they run out of time, their turn is lost and play moves on. The winner is the player whose total of the numbers they entered onto the grid is the highest!
